Shelby Bonilla is a visual artist and designer in California. She received a BFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Her collages are visual stories of new worlds. Often dreamlike and surreal, she captures moments and feelings of different places and people. She sees these narratives as 'alternate realities', each with its own unique blend of idealism and dystopia. Drawing inspiration from societal issues, coming-of-age stories, and the spectrum of human emotions, Shelby's work invites viewers to explore the depths of their own imaginations.
